Redcotts

Blue-tits eat greenfly and small caterpillars on the shrubs; other birds eat any crumbs left over from picnics. After dark, the scented plants attract moths and insects for the bats. Redcotts is a great example of how wildlife can be an effective part of the town’s management of these green spaces - the Groundsmen appreciate these creatures and are working with nature rather than fighting to control it.
